Overview

The United Board works with a dynamic network of universities and colleges to enhance Christian presence in higher education in Asia.  We promote leadership, collaboration and values, and share expertise in educational capacity building.  Our programs are led by partner institutions in Asia, so that from inception to execution they are driven by the needs and knowledge of the region.

Our programmatic activities center around three initiatives:  Environment, Inter-religious Understanding & Peace Building and Local Knowledge.  These are broad themes that reflect key issues for Asia and build on the existing strengths of the United Board.  In designing these initiatives, we have consulted with our partners, who have advised us on needs, available expertise and means for collaboration.

Our signature leadership and faculty development programs are now embedded in this new program framework.
