Dr. Shen Ke

Dr. Shen Ke is Professor of demography and Deputy Dean of the School of Social Development and Public Policy at Fudan University in China. She is China’ group leader in the global NTA (National Transfer Accounts) consortium. She also serves as the vice president of the Shanghai Population Association in China. She was elected as a Young Affiliate of The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) in 2022. She is actively engaged in research in population aging, family transition, and population policy from a cross-country perspective. Her work has been published in leading journals such as Population and Development Review, Social Science & Medicine, and Demographic Research.
Dr. Shen received her Bachelor’s degrees in Literature and in Economics from Peking University in China in 2004, and her PhD degree in Economics also from Peking University in 2011.
