In light of spiritual formation, multifaith chaplaincy takes an important role in transformative interreligious encounters. This session will discuss the core competencies for spiritual care: knowing, being, and doing.
The speaker, Rev. Dr. Stefanus Christian Haryono. is currently the Director of the Center for the Study of Spirituality and Spiritual Formation and lecturer of the Faculty of Theology at Universitas Kristen Duta Wacana (UKDW), Indonesia, where he also served as the University Chaplain for six years. He graduated from the Associated/Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary, Elkhart, Indiana, USA, with a master’s degree in Christian Formation. He obtained his doctorate in Spirituality from Claremont School of Theology, California, USA.
