Over the course of two days, 23 college and university leaders from Eastern and Middle Indonesia and Timor-Leste reflected on the current environment for higher education in their region and ways in which educators can respond to both obstacles and opportunities. Through small group discussions, participants realized they shared common interests in the Christian identity of their respective institutions, capacity building for research, networking for research collaboration, peace building, and building a strong commitment to quality, and fundraising for university development.

The August 1-2 program was held in partnership with BK-PTKI (Coordinating Body – Association of Christian Universities in Indonesia), and took place immediately prior to BK-PTKI’s Annual Assembly.
