Self-Care for Women Leaders
Date: January 21, 2021 (Friday)
Time: 9:00 am (Hong Kong Time)
The World Economic Forum recently reported that women were at least a year behind their male counterparts in terms of job advancement. Due to the pandemic, working from home under the lockdown has affected women to a greater extent, and resulted in additional stress and exhaustion. However, the demand for their caring roles on campus as well as home has kept them the least cared for. In this session, we plan to engage in a conversation with four women leaders to learn how they manage work-life balance, and how higher education institutions shall cope with gender-based disadvantages under the new normal, and provide support and opportunities to women when transitioning to the future.
