Freeman Foundation Generously Supports 2016-17 United Board Fellows Program

The United Board is pleased to announce that the Freeman Foundation has renewed its support for the United Board Fellows Program. The Freeman Foundation has been a long-standing supporter of this signature leadership development program, and its most recent grant will support three Fellows from the 2016-2017 cohort.

“Through its generous support, the Freeman Foundation is opening windows of opportunity for dynamic Asian leaders in higher education,” said Nancy E. Chapman, United Board president. “We are confident these educators will seize opportunities to prepare their students and institutions to more fully engage in an interconnected world.”

The following three individuals have been named 2016-2017 Freeman Fellows:

The United Board Fellows Program was introduced in 2002. Since then, a total of 200 Fellows have been selected for this leadership development program, representing 11 countries and regions of Asia; 59 institutions, large and small, private and public; and more than 40 academic disciplines.
