Freeman Foundation Renews Support for United Board Fellows Program

The United Board is pleased to announce that the Freeman Foundation has renewed its support for the United Board Fellows Program. The Freeman Foundation has been a long-standing supporter of this signature leadership development program, and its most recent grant will support three Freeman Fellows from the 2019-2020 cohort.

“Over the years, the Freeman Foundation has been a steadfast supporter of our efforts to develop higher education leaders in Asia,” said Nancy E. Chapman, United Board president. “The Foundation’s generosity enables talented young educators to gain the knowledge, skills, and international connections that will help them make their institutions centers of excellence for teaching, learning, and service.”

The following three individuals have been named 2019-2020 Freeman Fellows:

Director of Language Education Center and Director of Chinese Language & Culture Center
Chang Jung Christian University, Taiwan

Dr. Kyi Chan Nyein
Head, Department of English
Bago University, Myanmar

Dr. Ricver P. Ureta
Dean of the College of Education
University of St. La Salle, Philippines
