The U.S. Agency for International Development’s American Schools and Hospitals Abroad (ASHA) program provides grant assistance to U.S. organizations on behalf of selected schools, libraries, and hospitals overseas that are founded or sponsored by U.S. citizens and incorporate America’s high education standards. Since 1976, the United Board has received ASHA grants in support of seven of its network institutions, enabling them to undertake substantial construction and renovation projects.
For more information, contact Kevin Henderson, Program Officer, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
An ASHA grant is supporting a solar power project at Madras Christian College.
