Bamboo Grants Program

Small Grants.students crossing bridgeSmall grants (up to US$5,000) enable innovative educators in our network to launch small-scale, start-up activities and pedagogical experiments to enhance whole person education in their institutions. The themes or topics of these projects are open. Applications are accepted at any time throughout the year and considered on a rolling basis. The United Board will endeavor to make a decision on each proposal within three months of submission.

Grants are awarded to higher education institutions; proposals from individuals are not accepted.

Applications are reviewed four times per year. The United Board will endeavor to make a decision on each proposal within four months of submission. The deadlines for each round of applications are as follows:

  • Round 1: July 31
  • Round 2: October 31
  • Round 3: January 31
  • Round 4: April 30

To begin the process, potential applicants should first contact the program officer for their respective region.
