Listening is a form of spiritual hospitality by which you invite strangers to become friends, to get to know their inner selves more fully, and even to dare to be silent with you (Henri Nouwen).
Spiritual care begins with deep listening, to the other, to oneself, and the divine. In this workshop, Dr. Su Yon Pak explores the practice of non-directive listening and spiritual companioning. Grounded in contemplative orientation, this webinar shows how to engage practices from Christian and Buddhist traditions to use as resources in campus ministry contexts.
