The United Board Visiting Lecturers Program (VLP) is a unique teacher mobility program that responds to expressed needs of United Board network institutions. It enables experienced teachers from one country to mentor younger teachers in institutions of another country. This initiative responds to educational reforms – for better quality teaching and learning, internationalization, and greater academic and cultural integration – and, through faculty exchanges, promotes the development of whole person education within the United Board network.
The pilot phase of the VLP focused on Myanmar, with educators from the Philippines sharing their expertise through short-term placements. (Read about the experience of Visiting Lecturer Herbert S. Corpuz.)
