United Board Fellows Program: Plans Confirmed for 2018 Summer Institute

The United Board Fellows Program will partner with the Harvard Institutes for Higher Education (HIHE) for its Summer Institute in 2018, following the highly successful institute the two organizations held for the 2017-2018 class of Fellows. The recently concluded three-week program earned high praise from Fellows for its emphasis on leadership development and building effective teams; international trends in higher education; and practical matters such as financial management, strategic planning, and performance assessment. HIHE faculty also introduced Fellows to Harvard’s interactive case study method of instruction and learning, and Fellows took the first steps in outlining ideas for the case studies they develop over the course of their fellowship term.

HIHE is part of Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education and it designs a range of leadership development programs for higher education administrators, including department heads, deans, vice presidents, provosts, and presidents.

The application process for the 2018-2019 United Board Fellows Program is now open. For further information on the program and eligibility requirements, please click here.
