Webinar: Listening as a Sacred Practice

February 24, 2021 at 10:00 AM (Hong Kong time)

Part of the Building a Culture of Care webinar series

Spiritual care begins with deep listening, to other, to oneself, and to the divine. This workshop will explore the practice of non-directive listening and spiritual companioning. Grounded in contemplative orientation, we will engage practices from Christian and Buddhist traditions as resources for practitioners in campus ministry contexts.

The speaker, Dr. Su Yon Pak, is the Senior Director and Associate Professor of Integrative and Field-based Education at Union Theological Seminary in the United States. In this hybrid faculty-administrator position, she envisions, creates, and oversees the curricular and co-curricular work of spiritual education. Click here for further biodata.
