Dr. Jakarin Srimoon joined the United Board in October 2023 as Program Director of Leadership Development.  He is responsible for developing strategies for and overseeing the leadership development programs, and for supporting partner institutions to implement the programs efficiently and effectively.

Prior to joining the United Board, Jakarin was the Vice President for International Affairs at the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce in Bangkok, Thailand and the Founding Dean of its International School of Management managing its campuses in Bangkok, Yangon and Mandalay.  Jakarin holds a Doctorate Degree in Economics from Kyoto University, Japan.  He was an AFS Exchange student to the United States (1989-90) and a participant of the Ship for Southeast Asian Youth Program (1994).  He is also a past fellow of the United Board’s Young Faculty Leadership Development Program (2004-2005).
