The United Board’s Campus-Community Partnerships program helps our network institutions connect classroom teaching and learning to the needs of communities beyond the campus. Our goal is for teachers, researchers, and administrators to help their students appreciate sources of knowledge and experience in local communities; deepen their understanding of community needs; and develop a sense of social responsibility.

This program area puts a special emphasis on service-learning, by helping educators integrate service-learning into the curricula and raise awareness among their students of those in need; and peace education, giving faculty the resources to educate students about practical tools for resolving conflicts.
