The United Board does not automatically collect or retain the personal data of visitors to the www.unitedboard.org website. The exception is when a visitor opts to send an email message to a United Board staff member or to a general email address (e.g., info@unitedboard.org) found on this website; in this case, the sender’s email address will be visible to the recipient and it may be added to a United Board database.

Third-party Service Providers
The United Board’s website host has certified its compliance with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework (click here for more information). The United Board website runs on the WordPress platform, which collects IP addresses, cookies, and other data from website visitors; please click here to read its privacy notice, which describes the data it collects, the purpose of collection, and restrictions on sharing. The United Board website uses a security plugin, Wordfence, which has assured its customers that its software is GDPR-compliant (click here for more information). We use Google Analytics to quantify the number of visitors to our website but have opted to have any IP data collected anonymized and to disable cross-domain tracking. Website visitors who opt to make an online donation to the United Board are directed to a Network for Good site; Network for Good has updated its policy to comply with the GDPR (click here for more information).

Deletion of Personal Data
