Consultant, Program Associate

The United Board for Christian Higher Education in Asia seeks to fill the position of Program Associate for its Consultancy office in Chennai. The position is responsible for developing and maintaining a vibrant alumni community by managing databases, social media, and events, nurturing connections with alumni, and fostering strong engagement through effective communication and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a vibrant alumni-United Board ecosystem.
  • Manage and update databases, web portal, and social media accounts to engage with clients. Create compelling and relevant social media content.
  • Establish and nurture connections with alumni in Asia to support United Board’s networking and development initiatives.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee alumni events, including reunions, networking events, workshops, and social gatherings.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with alumni to enhance engagement opportunities.
  • Follow up on alumni suggestions and referrals.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively within teams and work independently.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated experience in maintaining alumni relationships and organizing events.
  • Proficiency in social media management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and experience in public speaking.
  • Outgoing personality with excellent networking abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.

Desired Qualifications and Experience

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with data management tools to analyze and extract insights from large datasets.
  • Proficiency in communication and social media platforms.

Compensation and Application Process

Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
