Dr. S. Alfred Devaprasad is an education administrator with extensive experience in school and higher education leadership. He is the CEO of Christwood School, Chennai, an institution he helped establish. He previously served as President and CEO of the Alpha Group of Educational Institutions, where he played a key role in establishing and strengthening institutions across the K–12 and higher education sectors. He serves on the Boards of Madras Christian College and Schools, St. Christopher's College of Education & Schools, Stanes School, Coimbatore, Good Shepherd ICSE School, and Stella Maris College. He is the Vice Chair of Kodaikanal International School, Chairman of Christopher's Academy, and chairs the Global Advisory Board of the MCC Boyd Tandon School of Business. His academic contributions include serving as Chairman of the Board of Studies in Electronic Sciences and as a Member of the Academic Council of the University of Madras. He had earlier served on the Boards of ACSI India, Help a Child India (HACI), and the Christian Institute of Management (CIM), and has contributed to the governance of several educational institutions and nonprofit organizations in India and abroad through their governing boards, management committees, and IQAC committees. He was one of eight members of an international delegation invited by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the United States Department of State to participate in the International Visitor Leadership Program on "Education Today."
