Education Technology in Higher Education Conferences Grant

About the Grant
The Education Technology in Higher Education Conferences Grant supports faculty members from institutions within the United Board network to attend and present at international and regional conferences that focus on educational technology and innovation in higher education.
Through this initiative, the United Board aims to enhance professional development, encourage knowledge sharing, and strengthen collaboration among educators advancing digital transformation across universities in Asia.
Grant Objectives
- Support faculty participation in technology-focused higher education conference
- Encourage the dissemination of innovative teaching and learning practices
- Strengthen institutional capacity for digital transformation in education
- Build cross-institutional collaboration and professional exchange
Grant Coverage
- Covers up to 80% of total expenses, up to USD 1,200 per person
- The remaining 20% of expenses must be covered by the faculty member’s home institution
- Supports in-person conference attendance only (virtual participation is not eligible)
- Up to two faculty members per institution per year may receive funding
Covered expenses include:
- Conference registration fees
- Travel (economy airfare and ground transportation)
- Accomodation
Eligibility
- Open to faculty members from accredited institutions within the United Board network
- Applicants must have their research paper accepted for presentation at a relevant education technology or higher education conference
- Applications for team projects may include up to two presenting members
