Education Technology in Higher Education Conferences Grant
The Education Technology in Higher Education Conferences Grant empowers faculty members from our network institutions in Asia to attend and present at leading technology-focused conferences in the higher education sector, supporting professional development, knowledge exchange, and greater collaboration across our community.
Through this grant, faculty members can stay abreast of the latest advancements in educational technology, share their research with international peers, and bring back fresh ideas to their home institutions. By fostering professional growth and innovative teaching practices, the United Board carries on its mission to strengthen academic excellence and promote a culture of collaboration among member institutions.
In 2024, two grants were awarded to faculty members from Souphanouvong University in Laos and from Silliman University in the Philippines to enable them to participate in the eLearning Forum Asia (eLFA) hosted by the Hong Kong Baptist University. Both participants have found that with the grants they had been able to enhance their understanding of digital education and widen their professional networks.
This grant initiative exemplifies the United Board’s dedication to advancing digital learning and innovative educational practices across Asia. By enabling faculty to participate in technology-themed conferences, such as the eLearning Forum Asia, we are investing in the professional growth of educators and strengthening our collective ability to respond to the evolving landscape of higher education.
