The United Board Faculty Scholarship Program supports institutions in the United Board network by equipping their deserving faculty with postgraduate studies opportunities. Over the last three decades, more than a thousand faculty scholars have benefited from the scholarship program.
Study-Abroad Scholarship
- Cap: US$17,000 per year for full-time postgraduate studies
- Coverage: Tuition, meals and accommodation, monthly allowance
- Programs: In English, within Asia-Pacific, outside home country
- Duration: Based on the academic program
- Renewal: Annual, based on satisfactory progress
Eligibility
- Full-time lecturer with 2-3 years teaching experience
- English proficiency (TOEFL/IELTS/GRE)
- Commitment to return to serve home institution
Application Timeline
- August—October: Application portal opens
- Mid-October: Application deadline
- November onwards: Review and selection
- February: Conditional offer announcement
- February—June: Admission to chosen institutions
- End of June: Admission offer letter submission
- July 1 onwards: Scholarship wire transfer
