The United Board Faculty Scholarship Program supports institutions in the United Board network by equipping their deserving faculty with postgraduate studies opportunities. Over the last three decades, more than a thousand faculty scholars have benefited from the scholarship program.

Study-Abroad Scholarship

  • Cap: US$17,000 per year for full-time postgraduate studies
  • Coverage: Tuition, meals and accommodation, monthly allowance
  • Programs: In English, within Asia-Pacific, outside home country
  • Duration: Based on the academic program
  • Renewal: Annual, based on satisfactory progress

Eligibility

  • Full-time lecturer with 2-3 years teaching experience
  • English proficiency (TOEFL/IELTS/GRE)
  • Commitment to return to serve home institution

Application Timeline

  • August—October: Application portal opens
  • Mid-October: Application deadline
  • November onwards: Review and selection
  • February: Conditional offer announcement
  • February—June: Admission to chosen institutions
  • End of June: Admission offer letter submission
  • July 1 onwards: Scholarship wire transfer
