Mindfulness is being a gatekeeper, as one observes everything that enters the mind. Meditation is a mindfulness practice for relaxation to reduce stress and worry. Mindfulness meditation is the act of paying attention and being present in what one is doing, thinking and feeling with non-judgmental way. Mindfulness meditation can help in our moral development through taming our mind’s inner critic.
One meaning of philosophy is to make friendship with wisdom. Mindfulness meditation is like making friends with our mind’s wisdom so that we won’t be hurtful to ourselves.
